Privacy policy

TrulyCricket ("we", "us") provides cricket scores, scorecards and news to ChatGPT through an app (an MCP server at trulycricket.com). This policy explains what data we handle and why. We do not have user accounts, we do not sell data, and we do not show ads.

What we receive

• Tool requests from ChatGPT. When you ask ChatGPT about cricket, ChatGPT sends us only the details needed to answer, such as a team name, match id, series id, player name or a news search phrase. We do not receive your name, email address, account details or your chat history.
• Technical request data. Our hosting provider records standard request logs: IP address (usually ChatGPT's servers, not your device), user agent, time and the requested path. ChatGPT may also include coarse, anonymized context such as locale.

How we use it

• To fetch and return the cricket data you asked for.
• To keep the service reliable and secure (debugging errors, preventing abuse, staying within data provider limits).

We do not build profiles, track you across services or use your requests for advertising or for training AI models.

Who we share it with

• Vercel (hosting) processes requests and request logs.
• Supabase (database) stores a cache of public cricket data, keyed by match, series or player ids. It never stores user identifiers.
• Cricket data and news providers (for example CricketData.org and RSS feeds from news publishers) receive only non-personal query parameters such as a match id.
• OpenAI operates ChatGPT, which sends the requests to us. OpenAI's own privacy policy covers your use of ChatGPT.

How long we keep it

• Request logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period (currently about one hour on our plan) and are not exported or archived by us.
• Cached cricket data expires within minutes to days, depending on the data, and is deleted automatically one day after it expires.

Your choices

• No account is needed. You can stop using TrulyCricket at any time by removing or disconnecting the app in ChatGPT.
• You can contact us with any privacy question or request at support@trulycricket.com.

Children

TrulyCricket is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over, in line with ChatGPT's own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security and international transfers

All traffic uses HTTPS. Secrets such as provider API keys are stored only on our servers. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
